Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility:
- The competition is exclusively open to students in the specified class and school where their teachers has been sent an invitation to the competition.
- Participants must be aged 16 or older at the time of entry.
- Employees of our charity, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the competition are strictly prohibited from entering.
2. Entry Submission:
- All entries must be submitted via their teacher who will submit them to us.
- The deadline for submissions will be specified in the email to your teacher. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues.
- Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry. Multiple submissions from a single participant will result in disqualification of all entries.
- Incomplete, illegible, or improperly formatted entries will be disqualified without notice. Proper formatting includes clear labelling of all required components and adherence to specified file formats.
3. Entry Requirements:
- Entries must include all specified elements: Market Assessment Report, Campaign Strategy Plan, Social Media Post Mock-ups, Engagement and Growth Plan, and Performance Metrics.
- All content must strictly adhere to our brand and marketing guidelines. Non-compliance may result in immediate disqualification.
- Entries must be entirely original and created solely by the participant. Use of third-party content, including images and text, without proper authorisation or citation will lead to disqualification.
- Entries must not contain any offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content. Such content will be disqualified and reported to appropriate authorities and school.
- Participants must ensure that their entries do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Any legal disputes arising from such infringements will be the sole responsibility of the participant.
4. Judging Criteria:
- Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, strict alignment with brand guidelines, quality and clarity of mock-ups, effectiveness of the campaign strategy, thoroughness of the market assessment, feasibility of the engagement and growth plan, and clarity of the performance metrics.
- The judges’ decision is final, though we will provide feedback for all entries. No correspondence or appeals regarding the decision-making process will be entertained.
5. Prizes:
- First Place: £40 Amazon gift card and the opportunity to work with us in the future in a paid or voluntary capacity within marketing and creative media.
- Runner-up: Opportunity to work with us in the future in a paid or voluntary capacity within marketing and creative media.
- Honourable Mentions: Recognition on our social media platforms and a certificate of participation.
- We reserve the right to withhold prizes if no entries meet the required standards, as determined solely by us.
6. Prize Conditions:
- The £40 Amazon gift card is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted for cash or any other alternative.
- Opportunities to work with us in the future are subject to our absolute discretion, the availability of roles, right to work, and satisfactory performance in line with our standards and policies.
- Winners will be notified by email on the date sent to your teacher. The Amazon Gift Card will be sent digitally to your teacher.
7. Intellectual Property:
- By entering the competition, participants grant us an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, modify, and publish the submitted content in any and all media for promotional and marketing purposes.
- Participants retain the copyright to their submissions but agree to allow us to use their work without further consent, compensation, or attribution.
- Participants warrant that they have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to grant the above license to us.
8. Privacy:
- Participants’ personal information will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Charities Act 2011.
- Participants may be required to provide additional personal information to verify eligibility and prize fulfilment purposes. Failure to provide such information upon request will result in disqualification.
- Personal information will be securely stored and processed in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available on our website.
9. General Conditions:
- We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond our control compromise the integrity or proper functioning of the competition, as determined solely by us.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions or who, in our sole discretion, engages in any conduct that is deemed unsportsmanlike, disruptive, or detrimental to the integrity of the competition.
- In the event of disqualification, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner or to forfeit the prize entirely.
10. Limitation of Liability:
- By participating in the competition, participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless our charity, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or injuries arising out of or relating to their participation in the competition or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
- We are not responsible for any technical malfunctions, failures, or delays that may affect the submission or judging process, including but not limited to issues with email delivery, server downtime, or internet connectivity.
- Participants are responsible for any costs or expenses incurred in the creation and submission of their entries, including but not limited to materials, software, and internet access.
11. Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Participants agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to intellectual property, data protection, and privacy.
12. Agreement to Terms:
- By entering the competition, participants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the competition.

- We are not responsible for any delays in responding to inquiries or delays in sending feedback or results after the deadline.
- We are not responsible for any technical issues that may prevent receiving inquiries.
14. Right to Amend:
- We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Participants are advised to review the terms and conditions regularly for any updates.
- Continued participation in the competition after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
15. Right to Withhold Prizes:
- We reserve the right not to award any prizes if, in our sole discretion, no entries meet the required standards or fail to comply with these terms and conditions.
- In such an event, participants will be notified, and we will provide feedback on the reasons for withholding the prizes, if appropriate.
